Product Detailed Description

Working Principle
The AS 4070 electric tubular pull solenoid functions through the principle of electromagnetic induction. Upon energizing the coil, a magnetic field is established, thereby drawing the internal plunger linearly into the solenoid’s housing. This linear movement generates a pulling force, which subsequently activates the door lock mechanism. Following the cessation of power, a return spring repositions the plunger to its initial state, thereby preparing it for subsequent operations. This push-pull dynamic facilitates rapid, repeatable, and precise control over locking and unlocking procedures.
Applications
Keyless entry door lock systems
Smart locks and electronic deadbolts
Access control and security systems
Cabinet and locker locks
Vending machines and smart equipment
Industrial and commercial automation locks
FAQ
Q1: Is the AS 4070 a push or pull solenoid?
A: It’s mainly a pull-type tubular solenoid, though you can get push-pull action with some mechanical adjustments.
Q2: Can you change the voltage and stroke?
A: Absolutely. You can tailor the voltage, stroke length, force, and duty cycle to fit your project’s needs.
Q3: Can it run all the time?
A: The AS 4070 is designed for intermittent use and can be customized for specific duty cycles. Continuous operation is possible, but you’ll need to account for heat.
Q4: Is it hard to install?
A: Not at all. The compact tubular design makes it easy to install quickly in most door lock assemblies.
