Product Specification

The working principle of an electro holding magnet relies on electromagnetic theory.
When an electric current is applied, a stable magnetic field is created.
Magnetic Circuit Structure
The key part is a copper coil wrapped around a high‑permeability iron core. When powered by a DC voltage (usually 12V or 24V), the coil generates a strong magnetic field.
Magnetic flux flows through the iron core, crosses the air gap, penetrates the ferromagnetic workpiece (e.g. steel plate), and returns through the magnet housing, forming a closed magnetic circuit.
Holding Force Performance
The holding force reaches its maximum at the contact areas between the magnet poles (center and outer ring) and the workpiece. This force acts perpendicular to the mounting surface, ensuring stable and firm holding.
Control & Operation
The magnet maintains holding force while energized. When power is cut off, the magnetic force vanishes and the workpiece is released.
Electro Holding Magnet Applications:
Production Lines & Automation Equipment
Holding, positioning and transferring parts on assembly lines, conveyors and automated machinery.
Robotic Manipulators & Arms
Used as end-effectors for precise and safe gripping of steel components.
Workholding & Machine Tools
